“NO MSG ADDED” - whether on the front of a restaurant menu or the back of a sauce jar… we’ve all seen the advertisement.

It’s a phrase rooted in questionable anecdotes and racism. But the facts are clear and backed by modern science: MSG is safe, and it deserves a comeback. And by the way, it’s delicious! Monosodium glutamate (mono = one, sodium = salt, glutamate = amino acid; MSG) is the sodium of glutamic acid, an amino acid that occurs naturally in many foods. In non-sciency terms… MSG is a natural plant-based compound found in many common foods such as tomatoes, cheese, and mushrooms.

We can’t wait for you to give our spice blends a try!
